Our Vision: Tapestries of Hope is a central New Jersey non-profit dedicated to honoring each woman in the community who is grieving the death of her mom or mother figure. Tapestries was created to provide a supportive environment for women to express their grief through workshops, support groups, expressive arts, and programs for continued healing.

Alison Miller Founder and Facilitator Alison is a certified facilitator through the American Academy of Bereavement. She has hospice bereavement experience and has facilitated many support groups for women in grief. She also served as a volunteer at Liberty State Park following the attacks of 9/11. She is certified in field traumatology, critical incident stress management and compassion fatigue. |

Alisa B.Miller, MSW, LSW Support Services Alisa is a hospice social worker, hospice bereavement coordinator and a certified bereavement facilitator. She has experience with and has facilitated support groups for women grieving the loss of their mothers, and also has facilitated support groups and provided counseling for grieving children. |
